Industry Advisors

The Role of an Armstrong Wolfe Industry Advisor

The primary objective of an Advisory appointment with Armstrong Wolfe is to help alumni maintain a strong professional network and stay updated on financial services trends. By engaging in these roles, advisors enhance their visibility and position themselves as industry experts.

Advisors play a key role in fostering dialogue and collaboration within the International COO Community (iCOOC). They are typically experienced professionals with backgrounds in banking, asset management, strategy, innovation, transformation, business risk, and controls within first line business management.

Leveraging their expertise, advisors contribute to Armstrong Wolfe’s mission of facilitating industry conversations and knowledge-sharing, all while maintaining their industry visibility.

Advisors are invited to Armstrong Wolfe’s industry dinners, where iCOOC members discuss critical issues and emerging trends. They are expected to actively engage in discussions and contribute to the AW 500, a report summarizing key insights from each event. This report is shared with attendees and iCOOC members.

Advisors may also be invited to chair or co-host dinner segments, providing them with an opportunity to shape discussions, guide exchanges, and demonstrate their expertise to an executive audience. These opportunities enhance the dinners’ value and allow advisors to build rapport with potential interim engagement managers.

Beyond in-person events, advisors may co-host online forums, share their industry knowledge in virtual panels, and contribute written articles to the COO Magazine. These contributions enrich Armstrong Wolfe’s intellectual capital while reinforcing the advisors’ standing as thought leaders.

This approach benefits both advisors and Armstrong Wolfe’s community, ensuring a dynamic exchange of ideas and expertise. Armstrong Wolfe’s commitment to supporting advisors reflects its understanding of the challenges senior professionals face during career transitions.

In summary, the role of an Armstrong Wolfe Industry Advisor involves contributing to the community while fostering personal professional growth. Through participation in events, forums, and publications, advisors shape the discourse around financial services and advance their own careers in an evolving sector.
